Today was much less busy than yesterday, but it was still
really great! Around 2, the five
of us headed out to Allianz Stadium to see the Sydney Roosters play rugby
against the Bisbane Broncos. We
(Sydney) lost, but it was still a really entertaining game! Rugby players are vicious! They will do everything in their power to keep that ball or take it away from
the opposing team. We were pretty
close, but I’m surprised that I didn’t see any blood! And the players are HUGE! I’m definitely glad that I had the experience of going to a
real Australian sport game. On the
way back from the game, we rode up the elevator with Rachael Leahcar, one of
the contestants on The Voice Australia. It seems like most of the contestants
are staying here at the Meriton.
We were too shy and awkward to say anything, but we’re going to write
notes and ask the front desk to deliver them to her. Now a bunch of us are getting together for a potluck! I'm so excited!
