First Glimpse

The gorgeous Rocky Mountains as we flew towards Los Angeles.

Our first glimpse of the Australian coastline!  We're actually here!

I broke the rules and left my camera on during our descent.  It was worth it - this is Sydney.

View from the CAPA cafeteria and student lounge.

View of the golf course from our apartment balcony.

One of two bathrooms in the apartment.  I share this one with Lianne.

Our bedroom with the attached balcony.

The STUNNING living room.  This clearly isn't meant to be student housing.

The kitchen, of course!  We'll be doing lots of cooking in here.  And look - some
of those Australian gold kiwis at the bottom!

CAPA is giving us free lunch this afternoon, and it's going to consist of kangaroo and crocodile pizza.  Cheese, too, which is obviously what I'll be indulging in.  I do wish I was adventurous enough to eat kangaroo or crocodile, but I just don't see it happening.

This evening, there is a tour of The Rocks, which I'm hoping to go on.  I haven't done much of anything yet, which I'm regretting, but I'm finally over the jet lag.  I slept from 10:30-8:30 last night, and I feel great!
