Pre-Departure Orientation Complete!
I've attended my pre-departure orientation, and I've begun packing up my dorm room - some bags are staying in Boston, and others are headed to Sydney! This is taking a lot of planning...
I've been registered for my courses and Northeastern has charged my account (of course, there's no hesitation there...).
My insurance will cover me while I'm abroad.
I've copied down an OISP emergency phone number.
I'm working on getting my visa.
I've filled out the OISP medical form.
Most of the session was geared towards safety. I've been abroad, so it wasn't news to me when we were told that travelers are targeted.
So, I'll be on my way to the opposite side of the earth in a little over a month now! I am so excited! Be sure to stay tuned. :]
